THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED BY PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION

TO THE GLORY OF GOD

AND IN MEMORY OF OUR BAXENDEN LADS

WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR US

IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919
