PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION  AD1922

IN ETERNAL REMEBRANCE OF THE MEN

OF HUNCOAT WHO GAVES THEIR LIVES

FOR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR

1914 - 1918

"GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS"

 

 

There are 25 names recorded from the First World War and 6 from the Second World War

on a separate small plaque at the base of the cross.

 

 

 

 

The names from WW2 are very faint
