REMEMBRANCE

ALL WHO FOUGHT

Inside the church is a plaque recording the names of  214 parishioners who died     in the Great War

 

 

IN LASTING MEMORY

OF THE MEN BELONGING TO THIS PARISH

WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY

IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919

Also in the church is the plaque commemorating those who died

from the church of St John's, Gannow.

The church was demolished  c1979 and the Parish amalgamated

with that of All Saints.

 

There are 135 names on the memorial.
