Location:   This memorial stands in the grounds of St Mary's Church, Manchester Road, Nelson. The church has been unused & boarded up since about 1997 and the last time I drove past the whole site was cordoned off.

There was also a brass plaque inside the church which is now at the British Legion Club in Brunswick St, Nelson according to the ukiwm website.
